Tower Configurations
The RoXteel Modular Plenum System is built in 20-foot modular sections. Sections stack to 60 feet. Structural steel straddle bases extend the system to 80 and 100 feet. Every configuration is engineered to be self-supported, no support from surrounding buildings or screen walls required.
Configuration Table
One pick per 20-foot section. 40 ft = 2 picks. 60 ft = 3 picks. 80 / 100 ft straddle configurations are handled case by case.
| Tower Height | Configuration | Crane Picks |
|---|---|---|
| 40 ft | 2 × 20 ft sections | 2 picks |
| 60 ft | 3 × 20 ft sections | 3 picks |
| 80 ft | 20 ft straddle base + 60 ft of plenum | Case by case |
| 100 ft | 40 ft straddle base + 60 ft of plenum | Case by case |
One pick per 20-foot section. 40 ft tower = 2 picks. 60 ft tower = 3 picks. 80 / 100 ft towers with straddle structures are handled case by case based on project configuration. Every tower configuration is engineered to be self-supported.
Module Design
The 20-foot section is the building block of every tower.
Module Size
20-foot sections / cubes.
Straddle Bases
Made to order. Not normally held in inventory.
Straddle bases are made to order and are not normally held in inventory. They are engineered to accommodate project-specific configurations, including double-stacked gensets at the 100-foot configuration.
Placement Options
The plenum can be placed behind the genset package or on top using a structural steel straddle frame.
Self-Support at Every Height
Every tower configuration, 40 ft through 100 ft, is engineered to resist applicable IBC / ASCE 7 loading without support from surrounding buildings or screen walls.
Engineered to applicable IBC / ASCE 7 wind loading.
Engineered to applicable IBC / ASCE 7 seismic loading.
Engineered to applicable IBC / ASCE 7 snow, ice, and live load.
